This set also performs automatic 3:3/2:2 pulldown detection--a handy feature for watching progressive-scan movie programs in their native 24-frame format. To adapt 24 frames-per-second movies to 30 fps video, frames in the original movie must be duplicated; 3:2 pulldown digitally corrects this duplication by removing the redundant information to display a frame-accurate picture. I was browsing amazon when I found this TV at an affordable price of $ 799 with free shipping, and soon after I bought, the price shot up to $ 1200 +. Although I am no expert on TV .. the crowd seems to be a good opportunity for the price I paid, but I would not pay more than $ 1,000 for them. Just felt a bit 'cheap, I could not even attached to the speaker bar and even in the safe was the right one. On the positive side, it has tons of ports, even if not the best image quality.I am happy with him, but as I said, only what I paid. The suspicious thing is that very little data for the TV listed anywhere on the Web site or Amazon Audiovox. The box says 1080p but I have no way of knowing how it works well with 1080p. No contrast ratios or anything like that, makes a very conspicuous.
